CP Exhibition Ltd (CP) was established in 1976, with head office in Hong Kong. It has organized nearly 400 trade exhibitions on over 20 topics in China, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, and the Philippines.
CP launched its first exhibition, USA Electronic, in China in 1980. Beijing Aviation was successfully held every two years between 1984 and 2013. Between 2006 and 2008, CP joined the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, launching the “Hong Kong International Medical & Healthcare Fair.” CP launched its first Vietnam exhibition, Textile/Garment Machinery (SaigonTex), and Fabric (SaigonFabric), in Vietnam in 1991. It is now the biggest international exhibition (in all industries) in Vietnam, and it is UFI-approved. CP also launched the first Philippine Garment Industry and Textile Expo in Manila in 2018.
Dr. Andrew Kay is the Managing Director of CP, Exco Member of the Hong Kong Exhibition & Convention Industry Association (HKECIA), Board member of the Asian Federation of Exhibition & Convention Associations (AFECA), founder of Hong Kong Catamaran Club Ltd (CATA, www.cata.hk). CATA is a yacht charter and American Sailing Association (ASA) sail training & certification facility in Hong Kong.
He graduated from the University of Arizona, USA, with a B.S. and a master’s degree in Physics (Optics) in 1973. He took graduate executive programs at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, CA. USA, Tsinghua University Computer Graduate School in China, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and SACEOS Singapore in management, finance, the internet, and PR marketing in the last 30 years. In 2002, he was awarded another master’s degree in Financial Engineering from the City University of Hong Kong and a doctor of business administration (in exhibition) from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. His doctorate dissertation was titled “International Trade Show Organizers in China”.
